Mission
Alfaisal University Art Club aims to:
- Encourage Expression: Provide a space for students to share ideas and express emotions through painting, drawing, photography, and design.
- Support Growth: Offer workshops and exhibitions that help members improve their artistic skills.
- Build Community: Connect art lovers from all colleges to collaborate on creative projects.
- Promote Culture: Highlight local and global art forms, supporting cultural awareness and appreciation.
The club’s goal is to make art a visible, meaningful, and uniting part of Alfaisal University.
Previous Events
2024
The Color Whispers Workshop introduced participants to the essentials of color theory with an emphasis on how colors interact on the canvas. Attendees painted a full color wheel, learned about primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, and practiced mixing techniques to see how hue, value, and saturation change. The workshop also covered key color relationships such as complementary and analogous palettes and how these combinations affect balance and mood in art.
Participants then applied these ideas through hands-on acrylic painting, creating color studies that showed how different colors blend and harmonize. The session strengthened their ability to choose and comb SDG 8, SDG 11
