Mission

Our mission will always be to provide the best education possible as well as inspire the future pharmacists of tomorrow. Our goal is to produce leaders and pioneers in patient care in order to improve health for all. We plan on applying the foundational sciences to the provision of inter-professional patient-centered care, management of medication use systems, promotion of population health and wellness, and collaborative discovery and implementation of solutions to today's and tomorrow's healthcare problems.

On April 10, 2025, the Pharmacy Students Association hosted the “Ancient Remedies” event at Alfaisal University, exploring the evolution of pharmacy from ancient civilizations to modern medicine. The exhibition-style program featured displays on herbal medicine, compounding techniques, and early pharmaceutical practices. Interactive stations demonstrated how traditional remedies laid the foundation for contemporary pharmacological innovations, offering participants an enriching historical perspective. SDG 3, SDG 9

On February 12, 2025, the Pharmacy Students Association organized a Drug Abuse Awareness Event at Alfaisal University to educate students about the dangers of substance misuse and the pharmacist’s role in prevention. Informational booths, interactive discussions, and educational materials highlighted the health, social, and legal consequences of drug abuse, promoting a culture of safety, responsibility, and awareness on campus. On February 3, 2025, the Pharmacy Students Association took part in the official opening of the Pharmacy Simulation Lab at the College of Pharmacy, Alfaisal University. The event showcased advanced simulation technology designed to provide realistic, hands-on clinical training. From January 17 to 19, 2025, the Pharmacy Students Association participated in the Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy Annual Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Members attended keynote sessions, workshops, and poster presentations, gaining insight into advancements in clinical pharmacy practice. On April 27, 2025,The academic year concluded with the PSA Closing Ceremony, celebrating the achievements and milestones of the 2024–2025 term. The event included recognitions of volunteers and committee members, highlights from each initiative, and a reflection on the year’s impact. On November 28, 2024, the Pharmacy Students Association organized a Sleep Hygiene Awareness Event at Alfaisal University aimed at promoting healthy sleep practices among students and staff. Informative booths discussed the science of sleep, common sleep disorders, and the impact of sleep quality on overall well-being. On October 24, 2024, the Pharmacy Students Association launched a Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign at Tarbiyah Al-Islamiyah Schools in collaboration with the Zahra Association. On September 25, 2024, the Pharmacy Students Association celebrated World Pharmacist Day at Alfaisal University with a themed appreciation activity for pharmacy students. The Alfaisal University Pharmacy Students’ Association, in collaboration with the Riyadh Elm University Pharmacy Students’ Association, organized a "Rare Disease Awareness Month" event on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Riyadh Elm University. The event aimed to raise public awareness about rare diseases and provide guidance on supporting individuals affected by them.
On November 13th, 2023, Pharmacy Students’ Association (PSA) at Alfaisal University focused on a critical and timely issue: the misuse of antibiotics and the resulting threat of bacterial resistance and treatment failure. Recognizing the importance of this topic for the entire Alfaisal community, PSA hosted an engaging and informative event. The event covered a comprehensive range of topics, including the history of antibiotics, their mechanisms of action, the development of antibacterial resistance, its impact on healthcare, and the new regulations imposed by the Ministry of Health for antibiotic prescriptions. The PSA team designed the booth to be interactive and visually engaging, complete with photo booths, games, giveaways, refreshments, and creative elements. This approach ensured the event was highly educational and enjoyable for everyone who attended, making a lasting impact on raising awareness and promoting responsible antibiotic use.
Pharmacy Students’ Association (PSA) at Alfaisal University successfully organized a Medication Misuse Awareness Event, aimed at educating the university community on the dangers of misusing certain medications. The event focused on anti-diabetics, narcotic opioids, topical antibiotics, and over-the-counter painkillers. Given the demands of exam season, the PSA also provided essential information on the responsible use of sleep aids, emphasizing their potential health impacts. To engage students and faculty effectively, the PSA set up an interactive booth on Monday, December 4th, which proved to be both captivating and educational. The event successfully drew participation from across various colleges, promoting a culture of awareness and encouraging safe and informed medication practices.
The Pharmacy Student Association (PSA) at Alfaisal University organized a thoughtful Eczema Awareness Event on campus. This initiative aimed to educate and inform the university community about eczema, its symptoms, and management strategies. The event included informative sessions conducted by pharmacy students, providing valuable insights into the challenges faced by individuals with eczema. Additionally, the PSA set up interactive booths with educational materials, offering practical tips and resources for eczema awareness and support. Through this event, the PSA demonstrated their commitment to health education and community well-being.
All healthcare professionals should place a high priority on patient safety, and to this concept they hosted “Patient Safety Event” to raise awareness about such important area!

Having a healthy life depends greatly on our mentality! The collaborative organized Mental health event MSA aimed to educate everyone about the common mental problems and how to deal with them.

This event was done to raise awareness regarding diabetes. This event had informative booths, a testing booth as well as other activities.

2020

This event was conducted to show the Saudi public how to use their medactions as well as the importance of scheduling and dosing. This event raised awareness around the side effects and the importance of reporting them.

2019

Alfaisal pharmacy students contributed in “Role of Pharmacist in the Community”. The event was organized by the College of Pharmacy with Public relations and marketing help to spread awareness to the public about the pharmacy profession, antibiotic use, and answer questions about chronic and OTC medications. We would like to thank everyone who showed their support.
