Vision

Our vision is to unite the students in the College of Law and International Relations. We also want to create a community in which each and every student will have oppurtunities to build skills for their future careers in law.

Mission

To be able to push all current students past graduation and into their careers ahead of their peers and to maintain the image of the Law across the kingdom and the world.

Previous Events

2025

On February 27, 2025, the Law Students’ Association organized a UN Policy Simulation in which students represented various countries in a recreated international forum. Participants debated and drafted policy proposals, strengthening their diplomacy, negotiation, and policy analysis skills while critically engaging with global legal and political issues. SDG 16

On February 11, 2025, the Faculty Feud brought together students and professors from the College of Law in a friendly competition inspired by the classic “Family Feud” format. Featuring law-themed questions that tested legal knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork, the event fostered camaraderie between faculty and students while celebrating their shared passion for the study of law. On January 28, 2025, the Law Students’ Association represented Alfaisal University at Al Yamamah University’s Legal Competition. Participants tackled challenging legal questions and case scenarios in Arabic, demonstrating analytical thinking, legal reasoning, and teamwork in a fast-paced academic setting while engaging with peers from universities across the Kingdom. On January 10, 2025, the Law Students’ Association hosted its first Moot Court Competition, providing students with the opportunity to experience advocacy in a simulated courtroom setting. Participants prepared written submissions and presented oral arguments before a panel of judges, strengthening their legal research, reasoning, and oral advocacy skills in a competitive academic environment. On November 28, 2024, the Law Students’ Association conducted a Legal Writing Workshop focused on strengthening students’ research and drafting competencies. Participants learned principles of clear and persuasive legal writing, proper citation methods, and structured legal memoranda drafting, with interactive exercises that provided practical application and feedback. On November 19, 2024, the Law Students’ Association organized a Mooting Workshop designed to prepare students for upcoming moot court competitions. Led by experienced moot participants and faculty members, the session introduced the fundamentals of oral advocacy, memorial drafting, and procedural rules, offering practical insights and constructive feedback to enhance students’ performance in competitive advocacy settings. On November 11, 2024, the Law Students’ Association partnered with The Courtroom Club to provide students with a hands-on introduction to courtroom advocacy. Through mock trial simulations and case exercises, participants gained practical experience in presenting arguments, examining witnesses, and understanding courtroom procedures, effectively bridging theoretical knowledge with applied practice. On October 29, 2024, the Law Students’ Association collaborated with the Management Consulting Club in an interdisciplinary event exploring the intersection between law and business consulting. Through case-based discussions, students examined how legal reasoning and strategic consulting complement one another in addressing corporate challenges, fostering cross-college engagement and professional skill development. On October 29, 2024, the Law Students’ Association hosted an Internship Workshop aimed at guiding law students through the process of securing and excelling in internships. Delivered by experienced professionals and upper-year students, the session covered practical strategies for identifying opportunities, drafting effective CVs and cover letters, and developing professional workplace etiquette to prepare students for meaningful legal experiences. 2023

LSA hosted the Debate Competition 2 in collaboration with the PSU Debate Club. The topics discussed were: The Right to Privacy Exists in the U.S. and Economic Nationalism is Better Than Globalization. Both teams were prepared and made exceptionally compelling arguments!

2022

The law students at alfaisal came together to debate one another on a number of topics related to modern day conflicts and issues.
