On February 11, 2026, the Science Student Association organized a picnic gathering at the College of Science, bringing together students in an interactive and welcoming atmosphere. The event aimed to create a space where academic advice could be exchanged, experiences shared, and connections strengthened within the college community. The gathering played an important role in helping new students feel welcomed and supported by providing them the opportunity to connect with senior students and integrate smoothly into the college environment. The event featured a variety of engaging social activities, including short quizzes and interactive games designed to encourage participation. Creative crafts and board games were also incorporated to promote relaxation, collaboration, and creativity among attendees. Several activities centered around sustainability-themed planting initiatives, raising environmental awareness while maintaining a fun and educational atmosphere. By combining academic guidance, social interaction, and enjoyable activities, the event ensured a well-rounded and meaningful experience for all participants. On May 8th 2025, the Science Student Association organized the Science and Technology Day at Alfaisal University, bringing together high school students in an interactive and inspiring academic atmosphere. The annual event aimed to provide a platform for young innovators to explore and present practical, forward-thinking projects that address pressing global and local sustainability challenges. The event was designed to encourage early engagement with scientific inquiry and sustainable development by motivating students to creatively examine environmental and technological issues affecting their communities. Through structured project presentations, participants were given the opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions that demonstrate both scientific understanding and social responsibility. Participants developed innovative projects either individually or in teams of up to four members. The thematic scope included renewable energy, water conservation, waste management, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity protection, eco-friendly materials, and climate change solutions. Projects were evaluated based on creativity, scientific impact, and relevance to sustainability within the Saudi context, ensuring that each submission reflected both originality and practical applicability. Throughout the day, attendees engaged with a range of enriching activities that enhanced the overall educational experience. Hands-on demonstrations allowed students to showcase their work in an interactive format, while educational booths provided further opportunities for knowledge exchange. A sustainability-themed interactive zone created an immersive learning environment that combined awareness, engagement, and experiential exploration. The Science and Technology Day successfully fostered a culture of innovation, environmental responsibility, and collaborative learning among participants. By offering a university-level platform for presentation and dialogue, the event strengthened students’ confidence in their scientific abilities and encouraged continued pursuit of sustainable solutions. On November 21, 2024, the Science Student Association organized PICNIC SSA at the College of Science, bringing together 80 participants in an interactive and welcoming atmosphere. The event aimed to create an enjoyable setting where students could connect beyond the classroom while fostering a stronger sense of belonging within the college community. The gathering was designed to strengthen relationships among students and association members by providing a space for academic dialogue and shared experiences. It offered an informal yet meaningful environment in which students could exchange advice, discuss academic pathways, and build supportive peer networks. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring that new students felt welcomed and included, facilitating their integration into the academic and social culture of the college. The event featured a diverse range of engaging social activities that encouraged participation and collaboration. The workshop aimed to guide participants in creating and refining LinkedIn profiles that effectively represent their academic background, skills, and professional experiences. The session was designed to address the increasing importance of digital professional presence in today’s competitive academic and job markets. Emphasis was placed on the strategic presentation of achievements, the articulation of competencies, and the alignment of personal profiles with career goals. By highlighting the role of LinkedIn as a professional networking platform, the workshop reinforced its value in supporting internships, employment opportunities, and long-term career growth. Throughout the workshop, participants were introduced to practical strategies for profile optimization, including crafting impactful headlines and summaries, selecting appropriate skills, and structuring experience sections to reflect measurable accomplishments. The session also covered professional networking techniques, guiding students on how to connect with industry professionals, engage with relevant content, and maintain an active online presence. On Thursday, September 19, 2024, the Science Student Association organized the CV Building Session for SSA members from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM, bringing together students in an informative and skills-focused environment. The session aimed to guide participants in developing effective and professional curricula vitae that reflect their academic achievements and career aspirations. The workshop was designed to address the growing need for students to present themselves competitively in academic and professional settings. Emphasis was placed on understanding the structure, clarity, and strategic presentation required to create a compelling CV. By highlighting the importance of professional documentation, the session reinforced the role of a well-prepared CV in securing internships, employment opportunities, and admission to postgraduate programs. During the session, participants were introduced to the essential components of a strong CV, including formatting guidelines, content organization, and techniques to tailor applications to specific opportunities. Practical advice was provided on how to effectively present academic experiences, extracurricular involvement, research participation, and skill sets. To further support students, attendees received a structured CV outline that could be used as a reference for future updates and applications. The CV Building Session successfully enhanced students’ awareness of professional standards and increased their confidence in preparing application materials. This event was done to showcase the brilliance of students in the college of science and how their inventions could be taken to the next step. This event also had guest scientists of the future showcase their work for all the university students to see.

2020

This was a campaign that shined the light on chemistry for all humans and celebrated chemistry day. This campaign had interactibe chemical reactions which grabbed the attention of all the students at Alfaisal.

An event that celebrated the international earth day by decreasing the consumption of electricity as well as having games and a stargazing aspect.

In collobration with an escape room, the SSA came together and built escape rooms in order to have an intersctive event for the students. The students learned how to solve clues and built a sense of teamwork.
