We aim to develop the social and analytical skills of our members, to help students create and foster connections with other organizations, and most importantly provide them with the expertise they need to take on the world.
Mission
We focus on developing and improving many skills needed for success. Hence our purpose is to ensure that Alfaisal students experience an enjoyable, exciting, and flourishing time at their university. We aim to broaden, develop, and enhance the experience of our members by collaborating with respected entities to further enrich their leadership and social qualities while also expanding their vision beyond the university’s setting.

On November 9, 2025, SDC hosted Beyond, an event focused on
expanding student perspectives beyond academics, encouraging
personal growth, skill development, and forward-thinking

نائبة الرئيس للعلاقات الخارجية والتنمية، احتفلت الجامعة بيوم التأسيس
السعودي. الحدث، الذي نظمته لجنة التنمية الاجتماعية، نادي رؤية 2030،
وعمادة
شؤون الطلاب، تضمن معرضًا تاريخيًا وفنيًا يروي تاريخ الدولة السعودية. من
أبرز
الفعاليات تكريم الشخصيات البارزة مثل الإمام محمد بن سعود، مؤسس الدولة
السعودية الأولى، وعرض للتراث السعودي بما في ذلك الصقور، الفخار، الخط
العربي،
والقهوة التقليدية.
On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr.
Mohammed Al-Hayazee, President of Al-Faisal University, and Her Royal
Highness Princess Dr. Maha bint Mishari Al Saud, Vice President for
External
Relations and Development, the university celebrated Saudi Founding Day.
The
event, organized by the Social Development Committee, Vision 2030 Club,
and
Student Affairs, featured a historical and artistic exhibition narrating
the
history of the Saudi state. Highlights included a tribute to key figures
like Imam Mohammed bin Saud, the founder of the first Saudi state, and a
showcase of Saudi heritage, including falcons, pottery, calligraphy, and
traditional coffee. SDG 11

2023
The Social and Development Committee organized a Club Feud Olympics, a
showdown of champions.
يتضمن الاحتفال على رحلة ثقافية عبر مناطق المملكة المختلفة، حيث يتم
التعرف
على تفاصيلها الفنية والتراثية من خلال زيارة المناطق الشمالية، الجنوبية،
الشرقية، الغربية والوسطى، بالإضافة إلى استكشاف أشهر الأطباق الشعبية. كما
يشمل الاحتفال عرضًا للخيول العربية الأصيلة في الساحة الخارجية للجامعة.
The celebration includes a cultural trip around the Kingdom, taking you
to
its main regions: the north, south, east, west and central, to learn
about
its artistic and heritage details, as well as its popular dishes. The
celebration also includes a display of purebred Arabian horses in the
university’s outdoor yard.
The Social and Development Committee organized the 7th annual AlFaisal’s
Carnival for another year of family fun.
The Social and Development Committee planned the 2nd annual step by step
build a CV event, this time taken from the virtual to the in person.
2022
The Social and Development Committee organized a forum to discuss career
paths where students were able to gain invaluable knowledge from the
experienced and learn more about themselves in the process.
The Social and Development Committee organized a Club Feud Olympics, a
showdown of champions.
The Social and Development Committee organized an homage to heritage for
this year’s annual Saudi National Day.
After a hiatus, the Social and Development Committee organized the much
anicipated 6th annual AlFaisal’s Carnival with a brand new look.

The Social and Development Committee organized a winner takes all Club
Feud.
The Social and Development Committee invited everyone to celebrate the
Saudi
National Day with an interactive stage of history telling to commemorate
our
present and honor our past.

highlighting the steps of building a cv with workshops on virtual

National Day, rejoicing in Saudi Arabia’s magnificent rich history and
reveling in the hope of years to come.
